N. T. Wright – The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32)

[app_audio src=”http://traffic.libsyn.com/redeeminggod/14_NT_Wright_Prodigal_Son.mp3″][contentblock id=nt-wright img=html.png]The Parable of the Prodigal Son has been an endless source of fascination and interest for me. It seems like every year I learn something new about this parable that causes me to see the parable in a whole new way.

So I was thrilled to hear what N. T. Wright had to say about the Parable of the Prodigal Son.

I think you will enjoy it too. So let me get of the way so N. T. Wright can do his thing.

If you enjoy what N. T. Wright has to say, I strongly encourage you to try one of his online courses:

I recently discovered that you can take a college course from N.T. Wright on the book of Galatians! Very cool. You would probably pay about $900 for this course at Seminary, but you can get it right now for only $149.

Yes I totally agree Jeremy! But this year the top was blown off when I learned the actual definition of prodigal and decided they mislabeled that portion of Scripture and it should be the prodigal father 🙂

Personally I had the experience that the prodigal son is the devil and that he too will be forgiven because that is the God I serve! The other brother is us and 99% of christians will not like this idea.

Is the devil a person or lies and accusations?

Why would you want grace that you dont deserve but doesnt want it for him? I serve a God who believes in forgiveness. He wouldnt expect it of us if he is not willing to do so. The way i understand Col 1:20 is that all he created will be reconciled with God.but like I said 99 persent wont like it.
